Afin de rappeler le jubil\u00e9, on d\u00e9cida qu\u2019une reproduction du voile de Sainte V\u00e9ronique y serait plac\u00e9e. Par ailleurs, c\u2019est \u00e9galement lors de ce jubil\u00e9 que l\u2019on prit la d\u00e9cision que la chapelle Saint Joseph deviendrait une chapelle o\u00f9 les dimanches auraient lieu une messe au soir.<\/p>
Ainsi, afin de pouvoir construire cette chapelle, des collectes furent organis\u00e9es et des photos de Madame V\u00e9ronique furent aussi vendues. Le 6 octobre 1957, les projets de la chapelle sont expos\u00e9s aux yeux des paroissiens. Durant les mois qui suivirent, les travaux se poursuivirent. En effet, l\u2019\u00e9quipe ouvri\u00e8re fut constitu\u00e9e, les premi\u00e8res pierres de l\u2019autel furent b\u00e9nites et une cloche fut choisie. Le 1er<\/sup> mai 1958, la chapelle est inaugur\u00e9e. \u00c0 cette occasion, eut lieu le cort\u00e8ge des saintes reliques au cours de laquelle les Reliques de Sainte Maria Goretti sont ench\u00e2ss\u00e9es dans l\u2019autel de la chapelle de Trich\u00e8res. Quant \u00e0 la cloche de la chapelle, elle fut b\u00e9nie le 27 avril 1958.<\/p>\u00c0 partir du 4 mai 1958, des messes sont organis\u00e9es tous les dimanches matin dans la chapelle.<\/p>
Le 9 f\u00e9vrier 1987, la chapelle Saint Joseph \u00e0 Trich\u00e8res devient la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de l\u2019A.S.B.L du doyennet\u00e9 de Dour. Par la suite, le 10 octobre 2000, la chapelle est rafra\u00eechie par quatre b\u00e9n\u00e9voles. Par ailleurs, il est \u00e0 noter qu\u2019elle contient \u00e9galement la vierge dite de l\u2019Epinette transport\u00e9e, le 17 juin 1987, de la chapelle Notre-Dame de l\u2019Epinette qui connaissait un grand nombre d\u2019actes de vandalisme. Ainsi, cette statue est accompagn\u00e9e d\u2019une T\u00eate du Christ souffrant.<\/p>
