Historique et \u00e9volution :<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>
La Grand-Place de Dour n\u2019est pas, d\u2019un point de vue g\u00e9ographique, le centre du village. Elle est en pente prononc\u00e9e. Ainsi, il existe, dans son sous-sol, des caves qui ont servi de r\u00e9serve d\u2019eau pour combattre les incendies ainsi qu\u2019en atteste une d\u00e9lib\u00e9ration communale. Dans ce contexte, on retrouve, sur la Grand-Place, l\u2019\u00e9glise Saint-Victor de Dour. Y \u00e9taient \u00e9galement situ\u00e9s auparavant l\u2019ancienne maison communale de la localit\u00e9, la Halle et l\u2019ancienne Justice de Paix.<\/p>
Lors de l\u2019am\u00e9nagement de la Grand-Place, lorsque l\u2019on changea l\u2019orientation de l\u2019\u00e9glise en 1842-1844, on pla\u00e7a les os d\u00e9couverts dans l\u2019ancien cimeti\u00e8re de l\u2019\u00e9glise dans une fosse commune dans le nouveau cimeti\u00e8re.<\/p>
Par ailleurs, tous les lundis, avait lieu le march\u00e9 de Dour. C\u2019est \u00e9galement sur la Grand-Place que se d\u00e9roulaient les trois grandes foires et ducasses. Aujourd\u2019hui, le march\u00e9 ainsi que la plupart des ducasses ont lieu sur la Place Verte.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
