D\u2019un point de vue architectural, le kiosque est constitu\u00e9 d\u2019un toit de chaume surmont\u00e9 d\u2019une lyre, d\u2019un socle en b\u00e9ton, d\u2019une balustrade et d\u2019un escalier.<\/p>
Ainsi, le 23 juillet 1865, le kiosque est inaugur\u00e9 par la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 musicale qui l\u2019a pay\u00e9 \u00e0 savoir la \u00a0Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Royale des Ch\u0153urs \u00ab\u00a0Emulation\u00a0\u00bb de Dour. De nombreux concerts y furent organis\u00e9s parmi lesquels on peut notamment citer, par exemple, ceux organis\u00e9s par l\u2019Orchestre national de Belgique.<\/p>
En 1941, il perd sa balustrade en bois au profit de personnes recherchant du bois de chauffage pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Par la suite, \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du 150^{e<\/sup> anniversaire de la Royale Harmonie de Dour, le 27 mai 1956, le corps du ballet du Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la Monnaie et la Musique des Guides s\u2019y produisent.<\/p>}
Par ailleurs, il est int\u00e9ressant d\u2019indiquer que la couverture du kiosque, d\u00e9j\u00e0 remplac\u00e9e en 1898, est agrandie en 1927. Toutefois, en 2003, le kiosque est d\u00e9moli et reconstruit.<\/p>
