Historique et \u00e9volution :<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>
Fond\u00e9e en 1900 et situ\u00e9e dans le complexe des socialistes, la Fanfare Socialiste de Dour eut son premier local au sein du si\u00e8ge de la Coop\u00e9rative \u00ab\u00a0Les Socialistes R\u00e9unis\u00a0\u00bb. Elle participa \u00e9galement \u00e0 des concours et des tournois principalement en Belgique. Ainsi, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 comptait 125 musiciens que la fanfare r\u00e9compensait annuellement au travers d\u2019un banquet nomm\u00e9 Sainte-C\u00e9cile.<\/p>
Par ailleurs, il est int\u00e9ressant de noter que la fanfare organisait un grand nombre de concerts notamment au sein de la salle des f\u00eates \u00ab\u00a0l\u2019Eldorado\u00a0\u00bb de la maison du peuple de Dour. Elle eut aussi des liens avec la fanfare \u00ab\u00a0les XXV\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>
Toutefois, en raison d\u2019un grand nombre de d\u00e9c\u00e8s au sein de ses rangs, le comit\u00e9 de la fanfare d\u00e9cida de dissoudre cette derni\u00e8re. Cependant, il est \u00e0 souligner que nous ne connaissons pas la date de dissolution de celle-ci.<\/p>
