Historique et \u00e9volution :<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>
La fanfare des XXV est constitu\u00e9e en 1909. Dans ce contexte, un nouveau r\u00e8glement fut \u00e9labor\u00e9 et la direction artistique fut confi\u00e9e \u00e0 Antoine Pr\u00e9v\u00f4t.<\/p>
En 1911, la fanfare se pr\u00e9sente au Concours International de musique de Valenciennes. Elle y obtient de bons r\u00e9sultats tels que, par exemple, le premier prix de lecture \u00e0 vue. Ainsi, elle obtient de nombreux succ\u00e8s jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la Premi\u00e8re Guerre mondiale. En effet, durant la guerre, certains membres de la fanfare perdirent la vie. \u00c0 la fin de la guerre, les r\u00e9p\u00e9titions reprirent et le nombre de musiciens au sein de la fanfare ne cessa d\u2019augmenter au fil des ann\u00e9es. Par cela, la fanfare des XXV \u00e9tait toujours pr\u00e9sente \u00e0 chaque manifestation patriotique. Dans ce contexte, il convient d\u2019indiquer que l\u2019endroit dans lequel les membres se r\u00e9unissaient pour r\u00e9p\u00e9ter nous est inconnu.<\/p>
En ce qui concerne les concours, elle participa aussi au Concours International de Lilles et au tournoi provincial de Mons.<\/p>
En 1927, \u00e0 la mort de leur directeur, Antoine Pr\u00e9v\u00f4t, la fanfare lui rendit hommage. Elle d\u00e9cida \u00e9galement que, chaque ann\u00e9e, \u00e0 l\u2019Ascension, elle se rendrait sur la tombe de ce dernier. Par la suite, la direction fut reprise par Henri Danhier et puis par Emile Lef\u00e8bre. En 1931, la fanfare re\u00e7ut un grand nombre de prix et de lauriers. C\u2019est \u00e9galement au cours de cette m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, qu\u2019elle obtint le titre de \u00ab\u00a0Royale\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>
Jusqu\u2019en 1940, Emile Lef\u00e8bre resta le directeur artistique de la fanfare avant de passer le flambeau au fils du premier directeur, Marcel Pr\u00e9vot. Apr\u00e8s la Deuxi\u00e8me Guerre mondiale, ce dernier tenta de rassembler la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 meurtrie gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la fanfare. Toutefois, malgr\u00e9 ses nombreuses initiatives, elle finit par dispara\u00eetre. Dans ce contexte, il convient d\u2019indiquer au lecteur que nous ne connaissons pas la date de disparition de cette derni\u00e8re.<\/p>
