Historique et \u00e9volution de cette coop\u00e9rative\u00a0:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>
Cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1886, \u00e0 la rue du Parc, dans un petit local, cette soci\u00e9t\u00e9 avait pour but de fabriquer du pain qu\u2019elle vendait moins cher que les boulangers. Dans ce contexte, il convient de souligner qu\u2019il s\u2019agissait d\u2019une coop\u00e9rative dont le fonctionnement \u00e9tait simple. En effet, chaque souscripteur \u00e9tait plac\u00e9 sur le m\u00eame pied d\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 et devait souscrire au capital social, chaque part \u00e9tant fix\u00e9e \u00e0 un montant maximum de 10 francs \u00e0 verser par acompte. En fin d\u2019ann\u00e9e, des ristournes \u00e9taient distribu\u00e9es en fonction des achats effectu\u00e9s dans le magasin au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e \u00e9coul\u00e9e. Ainsi, l\u2019id\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale \u00e9tait de permettre aux ouvriers de vivre \u00e0 meilleur march\u00e9. Limit\u00e9e \u00e0 un petit nombre de travailleurs, elle s\u2019est fond\u00e9e sans l\u2019appui d\u2019aucun parti politique. Toutefois, en 1901, elle abandonna son caract\u00e8re de neutralit\u00e9 et s\u2019affilia \u00e0 la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s coop\u00e9ratives boraines. Au cours de la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, elle poss\u00e9da sa propre Maison du Peuple et son propre magasin.<\/p>
Cependant, en 1895, le manque d\u2019ambition et l\u2019id\u00e9al du conseil d\u2019administration de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 provoqua une scission en son sein et les membres d\u00e9missionnaires cr\u00e9\u00e8rent une nouvelle coop\u00e9rative \u00ab\u00a0Les Socialistes R\u00e9unis\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>
Par la suite, la coop\u00e9rative des \u00ab\u00a0Ouvriers R\u00e9unis\u00a0\u00bb entra en comp\u00e9tition avec celle \u00ab\u00a0Les Socialistes r\u00e9unis\u00a0\u00bb. Cela amena, en 1922, \u00e0 la fusion des deux coop\u00e9ratives sous l\u2019appellation \u00ab\u00a0Les Socialistes R\u00e9unis\u00a0\u00bb. Cette derni\u00e8re continua \u00e0 prosp\u00e9rer pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es.<\/p>
