Historique et \u00e9volution :<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>
Fond\u00e9e en 1853 par Louis-Joseph Cambier et d\u2019autres habitants de la r\u00e9gion, la Royale Fanfare communale d\u2019Elouges comporte un acte de naissance qui reprend, d\u2019une part, les conditions de l\u2019association et l\u2019administration de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, et d\u2019autre part, les dispositions g\u00e9n\u00e9rales et les dispositions suppl\u00e9mentaires au contrat. Ainsi, le premier projet de r\u00e8glement fut sign\u00e9 le 8 octobre 1853 et les statuts sociaux furent sign\u00e9s le 23 octobre 1854. Dans ce contexte, il convient d\u2019indiquer que le local au sein duquel les membres se r\u00e9unissaient pour r\u00e9p\u00e9ter nous est inconnu.<\/p>
D\u00e8s le 8 octobre 1853, cinquante-trois instruments musicaux sont distribu\u00e9s si bien qu\u2019\u00e0 la fin de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 1854, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 compte cinquante-six membres. Dans les mois qui suivirent, le nombre de musiciens \u00e9tant important, elle dut aller jusqu\u2019\u00e0 refuser des candidats potentiels. Dans ce contexte, il est int\u00e9ressant de souligner qu\u2019elle eut notamment pour secr\u00e9taire L\u00e9andre Levecq et comme directeur Charles Debove. Ainsi, m\u00eame si aucune source ne fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 se tenaient les r\u00e9unions et les r\u00e9p\u00e9titions de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, celle-ci est tr\u00e8s demand\u00e9e dans la r\u00e9gion et se produit g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement en plein air lors des kermesses m\u00eame si elle tenait aussi des concerts, des bals et des cort\u00e8ges. Elle assista notamment \u00e0 l\u2019inauguration, en 1857, de l\u2019\u00e9glise paroissiale Saint-Martin d\u2019Elouges Centre.<\/p>
Par ailleurs, au fil des ann\u00e9es, elle obtint \u00e9galement des prix notamment \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger lors, par exemple, du concours de Paris organis\u00e9 le 15 ao\u00fbt 1892. \u00a0Ainsi, elle participa au fil des ann\u00e9es jusque dans les ann\u00e9es 1980 \u00e0 la vie quotidienne et festive d\u2019Elouges Centre et d\u2019Elouges-Monceau.<\/p>
De nos jours, cette fanfare n\u2019existe plus.<\/p>
