Fille de George et de Louise Lef\u00e8vre, Micheline Lecomte est n\u00e9e \u00e0 Dour le 10 avril 1932. Elle\u00a0est professeur \u00e0 l\u2019Institut de la Sainte-Union de Dour jusqu\u2019en juin 1992. Par ailleurs, elle fut \u00e9galement conseill\u00e8re communale en janvier 1971 avant de devenir \u00e9chevine le 1er<\/sup> janvier 1977 et premi\u00e8re \u00e9chevine en 1992.<\/p>

Au d\u00e9c\u00e8s du bourgmestre Arthur Capouillez, le 26 juin 1991, elle assume les fonctions de bourgmestre de Dour jusqu\u2019au 24 juillet 1992.<\/p>
