Historique et \u00e9volution :<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>
En 1872, l\u2019\u00e9cole des Trich\u00e8res est b\u00e2tie sur une ancienne fabrique \u00e0 l\u2019huile. En 1895, on d\u00e9cida d\u2019y ajouter de nouvelles classes. Dans ce contexte, cet \u00e9tablissement, nomm\u00e9 l\u2019Externat Saint-Joseph, \u00e9tait r\u00e9serv\u00e9 \u00e0 des groupes de filles. Ainsi, ce dernier li\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole des dames de la Sainte-Union \u00e9tait dirig\u00e9 par une directrice qui lui \u00e9tait propre. Des religieuses venaient y enseigner aux classes primaires avant de retourner chaque soir au pensionnat de la Sainte-Union o\u00f9 l\u2019on retrouvait des classes maternelles et primaires.<\/p>
En outre, il est int\u00e9ressant de souligner que cet externat se maintint jusque dans les ann\u00e9es 1980. Les directrices et les enseignantes s\u2019y succ\u00e9d\u00e8rent. Des f\u00eates scolaires y furent aussi organis\u00e9es. Cependant, en 1985-1986, les \u00e9coles libres de Dour devinrent mixtes si bien que cet \u00e9tablissement scolaire fut rattach\u00e9 \u00e0 la direction de l\u2019\u00e9cole Saint-Victor situ\u00e9e \u00e0 la rue Pairois.<\/p>
Actuellement, cette \u00e9cole est toujours localis\u00e9e \u00e0 Trich\u00e8res. Ainsi, elle porte aujourd\u2019hui le nom d\u2019\u00ab\u00a0Ecole Saint-Victor \u2013 Saint-Joseph\u00a0\u00bb. Elle comporte une section maternelle et des classes primaires.
