Fond\u00e9e en 1978 par un groupe d\u2019amis, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Les Francs Gaulois\u00a0\u00bb coordonnait et animait chaque ann\u00e9e \u00e0 Wih\u00e9ries une cavalcade. Le th\u00e8me choisi \u00e9tant le village d\u2019Ast\u00e9rix, on retrouvait, chaque ann\u00e9e, sur le char ce personnage accompagn\u00e9 de son compagnon Ob\u00e9lix. Par ailleurs, cette soci\u00e9t\u00e9 organisait \u00e9galement, chaque ann\u00e9e, une f\u00eate de la bi\u00e8re en mai, des sorties de capitaines, une f\u00eate populaire \u00e0 la Cambuse le week-end du 15 ao\u00fbt, un r\u00e9veillon du Nouvel-An avec bal et banquet, des d\u00e9placements hors du village ainsi qu\u2019une discoth\u00e8que pour diff\u00e9rentes animations.\u00a0<\/p>
De nos jours, cette soci\u00e9t\u00e9 qui n\u2019existait plus, fut recr\u00e9\u00e9e le 13 septembre 2018 sous le nom des \u00ab\u00a0Nouveaux Francs Gaulois\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>
