Fond\u00e9e en 1891 par Victor Descamps, A. Dufour, V. Delattre et F. Faidherbe, l\u2019harmonie de \u00ab\u00a0la Pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance\u00a0\u00bb fut dirig\u00e9e par Victor Regnart jusqu\u2019en 1893 avant d\u2019avoir \u00e0 sa t\u00eate Constantin Deramaix jusqu\u2019en 1922. En 1924, lors d\u2019un concert \u00e0 Hal en pr\u00e9sence du Prince L\u00e9opold, elle obtient le titre de \u00ab\u00a0Royale\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>
Apr\u00e8s la Seconde guerre mondiale, en 1945, cette association se r\u00e9organise apr\u00e8s plusieurs ann\u00e9es d\u2019arr\u00eat. Depuis, elle participe \u00e0 de nombreux concerts dans la r\u00e9gion de Dour et en dehors ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 un grand nombre de tournois. Dans ce contexte, elle r\u00e9alisa de nombreuses prestations.<\/p>
Son pr\u00e9sident \u00e0 la fin du XXe si\u00e8cle est Pierre Capouillez. Par ailleurs, il convient d\u2019indiquer que son local de r\u00e9p\u00e9tition est situ\u00e9 \u00e0 la rue de l\u2019Eglise \u00e0 Wih\u00e9ries.<\/p>
