Historique et \u00e9volution :<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>
Construit en 1800, le moulin \u00e0 vent \u00e9tait situ\u00e9 sur le Trieu du Moncheau, non loin du chemin menant \u00e0 Cocars, sur le terrain voisin du moulin \u00e0 eau du m\u00eame nom. En effet, ce dernier a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit afin de r\u00e9duire les probl\u00e8mes de p\u00e9nuries d\u2019eau rencontr\u00e9s par le moulin \u00e0 eau.<\/p>
En 1811-1814, un ouragan emporte le moulin qui n\u2019est pas reconstruit. En d\u00e9cembre 1826, le propri\u00e9taire du moulin \u00e0 eau du Moncheau, introduit une demande aupr\u00e8s des Etats d\u00e9put\u00e9s de la province afin que le moulin \u00e0 vent soit reconstruit. En janvier 1827, le conseil communal d\u2019Elouges appuie cette requ\u00eate sans aucun succ\u00e8s.<\/p>
