Historique et \u00e9volution :<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>
L\u2019ancienne maison communale de Blaugies, situ\u00e9e \u00e0 la rue de la Fronti\u00e8re \u00e0 Blaugies, est construite en 1821 comme l\u2019indiquent les chiffres inscrits sous la corniche. En plus des services administratifs, elle abrita \u00e9galement en 1822 pour une courte p\u00e9riode une \u00e9cole de laquelle le receveur communal, tr\u00e9sorier de la fabrique d\u2019Eglise et clerc la\u00efque, Th\u00e9odore Augustin Abrassart fut instituteur jusqu\u2019en 1854.<\/p>
\u00a0Du point de vue architectural, elle est de style n\u00e9o-classique provincial. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un b\u00e2timent \u00e0 double corps et deux niveaux. Elle est construite en brique et le soubassement est peint. Dans ce contexte, il convient d\u2019indiquer qu\u2019actuellement, elle est totalement peinte.<\/p>
En 1976, \u00e0 la fusion des communes, le b\u00e2timent n\u2019abrite plus les services administratifs si bien qu\u2019entre 1976 et 1981, il accueille une petite station r\u00e9gionale, Radio Cocars. Elle y restera pendant onze ans. D\u00e8s 1992, le b\u00e2timent a servi de local et de vestiaire au club de balle pelote \u00ab\u00a0Blaugies Salon\u00a0\u00bb. On retrouvait \u00e9galement dans ces b\u00e2timents le caf\u00e9 Cocars ouvert de 1992 \u00e0 2004. Ainsi, dans ces m\u00eames locaux, se trouvait auparavant la radio Cocars qui les quitta au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 1993.<\/p>
Actuellement, le b\u00e2timent est r\u00e9nov\u00e9. Toutefois, il convient d\u2019indiquer que les quatre fa\u00e7ades sont rest\u00e9es \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 qu\u2019elles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 class\u00e9es par la R\u00e9gion Wallonne le 23 septembre 1991.<\/p>
